What was Green Friday about?

From 28 November to 1 December, we teamed up with Justdiggit to choose regreening over discounts. For every order above €20, BOSKA donated €2 on your behalf to help restore dry land in Kenya.

What did we achieve together?

Thanks to all orders, we rounded this up to a €1,600 donation to Justdiggit. This will fund the creation of 200 bunds in the Chyulu region in Kenya.

These 200 bunds help bring back 24,800 m² of dry and degraded land. Land that can now regreen thanks to you.

Thank you for helping make the planet a little greener!

Waarom BOSKA kiest voor Green Friday met Justdiggit

Together we’re regreening the Chyulu region in Kenya

In the Chyulu region in Kenya, Justdiggit works with local communities to restore dry and degraded land. By digging bunds, nature gets the chance to recover. Bunds are half-moon-shaped structures that capture rainwater. Your €2 covers 1/4 of a bund, which means that together with three other BOSKA fans, you enable one full bund to be dug.

The impact: more vegetation, healthier soils and richer biodiversity. This regreening also improves the living conditions of the local community, with more fodder, more fertile land and a stronger ecosystem.

And you directly contributed to that.

More than Green Friday

Our partnership with Justdiggit doesn’t end after this weekend. Throughout the year, we work together toward a greener and more sustainable future. In Singida, Tanzania, we support the restoration of dry land. Read more here about our ongoing collaboration with Justdiggit.

With this Green Friday initiative, we’re building on that commitment: together we’re now also regreening the Chyulu region in Kenya. Step by step, we’re helping make the planet a little greener — this weekend and long after.

The power of regreening

Across Africa, Justdiggit shows what’s possible when people and nature work together. By capturing rainwater in bunds and sharing local knowledge, dry land transforms into green, fertile soil. Farmers see their harvests increase, livestock can graze again and communities gain new opportunities.

What starts small, with a single bund and a single village, grows into a movement that is regreening the whole of Africa. Thanks to Green Friday, you directly contributed to this.
