5 November 2023, Utrecht – BOSKA fans come in all shapes and sizes. That became even more apparent last weekend when the ‘IBBOSKA’ party kicked off at the IBB student complex in Utrecht. A party with one theme: BOSKA! And no, this wasn’t organized by us, and none of the attendees were BOSKA employees. The initiative came entirely from the students themselves.
IBB is a student housing complex in Utrecht where 1,300 students live. Every now and then, each “house” organizes a themed party. Why did they choose BOSKA as their theme? “At home we had like five cheese slicers and one BOSKA, and that was the only one anyone used—it was basically sacred, especially with all the grilled cheese sandwiches we made. We kept losing it, like you do, so we bought this ultra fancy BOSKA slicer and now it feels like a baby we all co-parent,” says one of the students. “Where’s the BOSKA?” is a regular message in the group chat when someone has taken it back to their room.
Now *that* is a compliment! To surprise the students, our Campaign Marketer dropped by the complex during the party prep. A real BOSKA flag, some merchandise and a few cheese slicers were added to the mix. The students had already gone all out with their own decorations—cheese and BOSKA-themed wall art, a cheese slicer garland, even a fridge transformed into a block of cheese. The BOSKA theme was absolutely everywhere.
