Crispy Puff Pastry Sticks - Cheese Fondue Dipper Tip

Ingredients (for about 12 sticks)

  • 1 roll fresh puff pastry
  • 50 g / 1.76 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame or poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C / 392 °F.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry and brush with the egg yolk.
  3. Sprinkle the Parmesan evenly on top.
  4. Cut the dough into strips about 2 cm / 0.8 inch wide and twist into spirals.
  5. Place the sticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and optionally sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve on a nice serving board.

Serving tip

Serve warm or at room temperature. These crispy sticks add a playful crunch to creamy Emmi fondue. Or make your own fondue via one of these fondue recipes.
